On January 23rd, 2022, Ruby had her second litter of seven adorable puppies!! They are all absolutely beautiful and we all love them so much already!! There are 4 boys and 3 girls, with a variety of gorgeous colours. Ruby decided to have them in the sunny afternoon rather than keeping everyone up all night like the last time! :) All of the puppies were born within 6 hours, and it was a guessing game to how many puppies there were going to be. Ruby is a wonderful momma and she is protective of her little ones. Ruby loves having puppies and she always seems so proud to show us her little babies!
For Ruby’s “B” litter, we wanted a theme that started with B that the whole family agreed upon. So we decided on Bejeweled!! It is perfect because Ruby's name is also a jewel and the puppies truly are little gems! (Anyone remember the game of Bejeweled?!) We decided on the temporary names of Jade, Jasper, Flint, Pearl, Copper, Emerald, and Sterling. It was hard narrowing down the names but the kids thought it was fun picking the different names! We can't wait to find out the names that each family chooses to name their new pet!
It is truly amazing watching the puppies grow and develop and we are so excited for the upcoming weeks! They are all so sweet and we are savouring every second we get with the pups! Every puppy is unique and it is incredible how their personalities will develop throughout the 8 weeks that we spend with them. Even in their first week, each puppy is different and just like the last litter, it is going to be an amazing experience watching them grow and then go to their furever homes!!
